My mission is to help people find that root cause and give them the resources to help overcome that dis-ease. I try to focus on the broad-based interconnectedness and how the lack of health can contribute to all sorts of dis-eases. My core values are to give hope and encouragement, to understand and to care for the person as whole and recognize the interconnectedness of emotional, spirit and physical.

Deaun Carpenter is a Board-Certified Family Practice Nurse practitioner in a rural health practice. Prior to earning a Master of Nursing degree at the University Nebraska Medical Center she practiced as a registered nurse in various settings. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Herbalist Guild. She has completed certification requirements from National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy.

Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Deaun has continued to pursue education in holistic and complementary medicine. Helping patients to achieve optimal health is a goal of Myrtle Health care.
